Coming Home

Another day, the same old way;

Wanting color, but seeing gray;

Come with me, let’s walk away.

Rising tides and falling hopes;

Changing lanes, but on the road;

It’s time to move away, so far away.

On our own, just you and me;

Our dreams and our fantasies;

Coming closer, within reach.

The blank pages start to fill;

The notes sing a symphony;

A song, for just you and me.

The city lights start to fade;

The horizon promises our fate;

A world of love, without hate.
