The Stars In Our Eyes

“There they stand, the innumerable stars, shining in order like a living hymn, written in light” ~ N.P Willis

Have you ever looked up at the stars and wondered what they are and how they exist? From down here, we only see floating lights in a sea of dark but what must they feel if they could feel? Imagine floating like that, no one visible as far as the eye can see. But then he continues to shine. He shines his beacon like sending out a signal to whoever can see him.

“Maybe someone will see me.”

“Maybe they’ll send someone for me.”

“Maybe they can join me”

“Maybe then I won’t have to be alone anymore”

“Maybe together we can join to create the next big bang”

There are parts of the star that are burning, that burning light keeps him shining. But there are other parts that are dark and dirty. But as much as he shines, he’s also hallow and alone.

Ever think how we are more like the stars of the dark night sky? Parts that are beautiful and parts that are burning. Some parts hollow and some parts full, we’re also alone. We’re also shining our beacon. Hoping someday someone will see us and would join us in creating magic. We are the universe and the universe resides in us. And most of all your eyes are the beacons of light. So shine bright and shed the tears that shine brighter in the sky.
